INFLAMEASE PRIVACY

Privacy Policy

Effective August 6, 2026

Limited beta notice. InflamEase is currently a test product for synthetic or non-identifiable information. Do not enter real patient records, identifying clinical information, or other protected health information during this beta. InflamEase is not represented as HIPAA compliant.

Who operates InflamEase

InflamEase is a personal wellness journal operated by Biotech Health. This policy applies to the InflamEase mobile beta, its supporting website, and its application programming interfaces. InflamEase is separate from ThreeMD; no ThreeMD account, service, data, credential, or business resource is used by this product.

Information you provide

  • Account information, such as your name, email address, and password.
  • Wellness-journal entries, including foods, portions, symptom or flare entries, survey responses, and notes.
  • Preferences, goals, recipe unlocks, points, grocery lists, and research-contact choices.
  • Meal photos you choose to submit for temporary automated analysis.
  • Information you submit through account, support, or beta-feedback features.

Information collected for security and operation

InflamEase processes session identifiers, approximate device or browser labels, request timestamps, and privacy-preserving security-event identifiers. Passwords are stored as one-way hashes. The app does not currently include advertising or third-party behavioral analytics.

How information is used

  • Provide and personalize the journal, recipes, points, grocery lists, and trends you request.
  • Authenticate accounts, manage sessions, prevent abuse, and investigate security events.
  • Analyze a meal photo when you expressly choose that feature.
  • Send password-reset messages and contact you about research opportunities only when you separately opt in.
  • Maintain, test, and improve reliability using synthetic or de-identified test information during the beta.

Meal-photo analysis

When you request photo-assisted logging, the image is sent through the InflamEase backend to OpenAI for analysis. InflamEase does not save the submitted image as an application record, and the API request is sent with storage disabled. Only foods you review and confirm are added to your journal.

OpenAI may maintain API abuse-monitoring logs containing customer content for up to 30 days under its standard data controls. Keep faces, documents, medication labels, and other identifying details out of meal photos. Photo suggestions are estimates and must be reviewed before they are saved.

Service providers and disclosure

InflamEase uses service providers for application hosting, database storage, mobile distribution, password-reset delivery, and optional meal-photo analysis. These providers process information only to support those functions and under their own applicable terms. InflamEase does not sell personal information or use it for targeted advertising. Information may also be disclosed when required by law or to protect users, the service, or others.

Retention and your choices

Account and journal information is generally retained while your account remains active. You can export a copy or permanently delete the active account data from Profile → Account & Data. Minimal append-only security records with hashed identifiers may remain for security and integrity purposes. Password-reset tokens expire and cannot be reused.

Security

InflamEase uses encrypted network connections, password hashing, expiring and revocable sessions, server-side authorization, rate limits, audit records, and operating-system secure storage for mobile credentials. No security measure can guarantee absolute protection. Report a suspected account or privacy problem through the Support page without including health details in the message.

Children

This limited beta is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 18. Do not create an account for a child or submit a child's information during the beta.

Changes and contact

This policy may be updated as the beta changes. The effective date above will be revised when material changes are published. For privacy questions, account requests, or beta support, use the InflamEase Support page.
